About The Company
Bequest Yoyos is a boutique yoyo company based in a small town in Northern California. The company was started and is solely operated by myself, Jabari Jenkins.
I am a designer at heart. Graphic and Visual Design being my specialty and profession, but I also enjoy learning Industrial / Product Design on my free time. And in addition to that, I also love yoyos. I combined the knowledge I had from those three passions, and pulled different design ideologies and thoughts from each of those passions; and thus my first design was brought to life.
The Legacy.
The Design
My thoughts behind The Legacy was to just create something that broke the mold of typical yoyo design, while still remaining fully functional.
I took two contrasting forms, angular and spherical, and merged the two together as uniquely as possible. This gives off an illusion that it is an organic throw from it's side, while it is the complete opposite from it's profile view.
